Our approach considers ease of installation, cost-effectiveness, and workability, allowing for efficient on-site assembly and reduced overall expenses. While EFPL focuses on these design and visualization aspects, die design and 3D printing are handled by Elemment Canada to guarantee precision and quality in component fabrication. This results in facade systems that seamlessly integrate with the architecture while meeting high standards of functionality and cost efficiency.

Mockup

At EFPL, we play a crucial role in the mock-up testing of facade systems by providing detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built documentation. These drawings ensure precision and clarity throughout the testing process, supporting accurate fabrication and installation. Manufacturing and testing oversight is conducted by Elemment Canada, where each facade system undergoes rigorous mock-up tests to verify structural strength, thermal performance, and weather resistance. This collaborative process ensures that every facade system meets high standards of quality, functionality, and design integrity before full-scale production.

Shop Drawings

At EFPL, our shop drawings provide comprehensive and precise visualizations of facade elements, ensuring clarity and accuracy throughout the construction process. Using both AutoCAD 2D and 3D, our skilled team prepares detailed drawings that encompass all relevant aspects of building elevations and floor plans. These shop drawings include critical information on dimensions, materials, connections, and alignment, ensuring that every component of the facade aligns perfectly with the architectural vision and engineering requirements. Our commitment to detail in shop drawings supports seamless coordination, efficient fabrication, and successful installation of high-quality facade systems.

Building Information Modelling (BIM)

At EFPL,  we offer enhanced design accuracy, improved coordination with other trades, optimized material quantities and cost estimation, and risk reduction for greater project predictability. Our precise 3D modeling ensures seamless integration of facades into the overall building design, delivering cost-effective and efficient solutions.

Fabrication Drawings

At EFPL, we specialize in delivering highly accurate and meticulously detailed fabrication drawings to ensure efficient and top-quality production of curtain wall frames for Elemment Canada. Our expertise lies in transforming design concepts into comprehensive drawings that serve as the blueprint for seamless manufacturing processes.

We use Autodesk Inventor for creating both 3D models and detailed drawings, ensuring high standards of accuracy. To manage data securely and efficiently, we rely on Autodesk Vault, providing a robust solution for version control and project collaboration.

Material Take-Off

At EFPL, we use Revit to extract material quantities accurately for building envelope design projects, ensuring precision, efficiency, and minimal waste.
Material Take-off is crucial for construction projects, especially for complex systems like curtain walls and façades. By extracting material quantities directly from Revit models, we ensure accuracy in cost estimation, supply chain management, and material optimization.
